This firm has two overhead cranes with outdoor and inside storage offering a climate controlled environment. This firm handles coiled steel, plate steel and other commodities moving in open top rail cars. Russell Street Transload Facility
The A&R Railroad has located its new Transload/Team Track facility just off Russell Street in the downtown area of Fayetteville’s Center City Business Park. This facility offers companies transporting materials by rail the opportunity to off load in downtown. The facility allows materials to be unloaded from both sides of the rail car. A ramp is located at the site to allow users to offload towmotors to facilitate the unloading of the rail car. Builders First Source has used the facility and many others are finding that it meets their needs.
The A&R Railroad offers dual connections to the CSX and Norfolk Southern Railroads which creates a very competitive rate for rail users. Use of the transload facility is free and ground storage is available to customers using the facility but is at their own risk.
